Video has proven itself to be an invaluable resource for engaging with customers and, with Valentine’s Day just around the corner, there’s no time like the present to spread a little video love. Not sure how to use video for your business this Valentine’s Day? We’ve compiled a list of seven great company Valentine videos for inspiration.

Share a Personal Story

If your company has a love story – like a couple that met on the job or because of your product, Valentine’s Day is the perfect time of year to share it. This video from McCrea’s Candies shows the company’s caramels being made and why they make an ideal Valentine’s Day gift, all set to the backdrop of the husband-and-wife founding team’s story and relationship.

Share a Date Idea

Just before Valentine’s Day, the search is on for the perfect date idea. Ride the coattails of this popular search trend with a video featuring date ideas related to your company. Chef Ricardo Cardona of Mamajuana Cafe does a nice job of this with a video featuring recipes to “impress your better half.”

Showcase Your Team

Valentine’s Day is a personal holiday, which makes it the perfect time to show off the personality of your company. A fun way to do this is with a video featuring members of your team, as shown in the examples below.

In the first video, we hear from the staff of Landmark Hospitality restaurants about what love means to them. The video is festive, gives some insight into the company culture at Landmark, and ends with a call to action to “come celebrate your love with us!”

Here at Animoto, we had some of our team members sit down in “The Animoto Hot Seat” to talk about love and dating.

Videos like this make for great promotional fodder, while giving your customers a behind-the-scenes look at some of the people that work so hard to bring your products to life.

Promote a Sale or Contest

If you’re celebrating Valentine’s Day with a special sale or promotion, video can be a nice way to spread the word. In this video from 2013, Heart Rate Watch Company uses video to share the details of their annual Valentine’s Day Sale.

In another example, husband and wife videography team White In Revery promotes a free wedding video giveaway for Valentine’s Day this year in a fun video with a personal touch.

Say “Thank You”

Don’t have a romantic story to share? No problem. Valentine’s Day can also be a good time of year to share a video thanking your customers and letting them know you love and appreciate their business. Here’s an example from Raleigh Real Estate agent Linda Craft and Team.

Have you made a company Valentine’s Day video? We’d love to see it. Share it with us on Facebook or leave a link in the comments below.
