Supported image formats
- JPG, GIF, PNG, TIFF - Animated GIFs and transparent images are not supported.
- Images can be uploaded from your computer or imported from Facebook, Flickr, SmugMug, Photobucket or Picasa.
- Maximum filesize is 10Mb, maximum of 300 images per video.
- For the best quality videos at 480p resolution we recommend images are sized to 1024x768 pixels or greater, with a 4:3 aspect ratio.
- For the best quality videos at 720p resolution we recommend pictures be at least 1280x720 pixels.
Supported video clip formats
- MP4, AVI, MOV, QT, 3GP, M4V, MPG, MPEG, MP4V, H264, WMV, MPG4, MOVIE, M4U, FLV, DV, MKV, MJPEG, OGV, MTS, MVI, M2TS.
- Maximum filesize is 200Mb, maximum video clip duration is 10 seconds.
- Longer clips will be trimmed to 10 seconds, but you can edit the starting point.
- Video captured by some digital cameras and camcorders may require conversion prior to upload.
Supported audio formats
- MP3 (16 to 320kbps). A selection of licensed music is also provided in our music library.
- Maximum filesize is 10Mb, maximum song duration of 10 minutes.
- For uploaded MP3s, we recommend a minimum bitrate of 128kbps and a sampling rate of 44.1kHz.
- DRM protected music such as that purchased from iTunes or Amazon Music Store may not be supported.
Output formats
- 240p MP4 — The lowest available resolution for most video styles. 432x240 pixels.
- 360p MP4 — The lowest available resolution for all styles supporting HD. 640x360 pixels.
- 480p MP4 & ISO — 852x480 pixels.
- 720p HD MP4 — 1280x720 pixels. Some video styles may not be available in HD.
MP4 encoding specs
- Encoded as H.264 (Baseline Profile), suitable for playback on computers and mobile devices.
- 24 frames-per-second.
- 16:9 aspect ratio.
DVD ISO downloads
- Anamorphic NTSC region-free disc image.
- Compatible with most off-the-shelf DVD burning applications.
