May 15, 2012 - Environmental Field trip to the Paul H. Douglas Center for Environmental Education. The center is located at the west end of the Indiana Dunes National Lakeshore Park. The class listened to a park ranger explain some of the highlights of the park and took time to discuss animals and plants that can be found in the park. The studentsalso went hiking on the dunes and trails behind the Douglas Center.
