Animoto is looking for great software engineers to build out the Animoto Platform. These services operate at scale to power internal applications such as Animoto.com, the Animoto iPhone app, the Animoto Facebook app in addition to external APIs. We want to significantly expand the Platform’s capabilities in 2012 and need excellent engineers to help.
Responsibilities
- Build and improve the services that power Animoto
- Code primarily in Ruby
- Write scalable and efficient code
- Work closely with product managers, back end engineers, front end engineers, support team
Requirements
- Computer Science degree or equivalent work experience
- Strong Computer Science fundamentals
- Disciplined approach to testing and writing maintainable code
- Extensive programming experience (Ruby skills a plus)
- Experience interacting with and designing APIs
