Bad weather? Get them giggling with Animoto.

Create some family fun!

Sure, it’s cold and it’s wet. Of course, from my daughter’s point of view, that’s exactly when she’s ready to head outside and put those boots and umbrella to work! Some of my favorite pictures are of her playing in the rain or snow.

Use Animoto online or on an iPhone to capture the delight. It’s free.

The key to weathering bad weather is finding the fun. The family in the video below clearly didn’t expect rain to be part of their outing. What I love about what the author did in the video is they ended up telling a story about their day by focusing on the raincoats.

Clearly they didn’t plan on creating this video when they started out. But after looking at the pictures, he decided the best story was the raincoats! He grabbed some shots, imported them into an Animoto template (we call them styles) and added some Animoto music to create some fun. It is okay to remember the tough times – especially when the memories makes you laugh!

Get a camera and start shooting!

Using Animoto is free. You can use it online and upload photos into the app or get the free iPhone app and make them on your phone. All you need is the talent (time to get the kids in their winter gear), some great shots and a few minutes to upload and mix.

We’d love to see your creations! Post a link here in our comments section so we can all see how you got them giggling!
