You threw a crazy fun bachelorette party for your soon-to-be-married BFF. Now you want to tell the story of that night with all the photos from that epic evening…
In our last wedding post, we focused on how to make a great “Behind the Scenes” wedding video. For bridesmaids, that might be hard to do! Here are some tips for a video you can most definitely make: a bachelorette party recap!
Make a bachelorette party Animoto video you can share with everyone!
1. Gather your photos.

You have pictures on your phone, Instagram account, your fellow bridesmaids’ digital cameras AND a few tagged photos on Facebook.
Ask all your friends to upload their shots to a common Flickr account. Animoto retrieves directly from Flickr so within just a few moments, you have all the best shots and video clips from your wild night out. Don’t have a Flickr account? Create a Dropbox account where your friends can place them or simply have them email the photos and clips to you so you can get started making your video!
2. Pick a song that is F-U-N.
The music you choose sets the tone of your video, so be sure to pick a song that is upbeat and compliments the crazy, fun night you all had. Animoto has fantastic songs in our Pop, Electronica & Indie Rock genres that are available for free!

Here are some of our favorite songs:
- “Life” by Bechae Shae
- “A Party on the Dancefloor” by the Hypo Twins
- “This Is Your Day” by Celine Allen
- “Tom Petty” by Lehtmojoe

3. No incriminating shots.
This may be obvious, but still well worth sharing. Keep it classy, ladies! You don’t have to rely on the risqué Chippendales shots to make it a memorable video. So long as it conveys the joy of the night, you have succeeded. Plus, it can’t be used as blackmail!
4. Add your words.

Yes, a picture’s worth a thousand words but sometimes you have to give the back story. That’s why Animoto lets you add some choice words to your video. Click on the “Add Text” in the video upload area and add some words to help tell the story of your fun night.
5. Share, share, share

Once you have your video the way you want it, share it! Upload it to Facebook. Text it via the share button on Animoto’s free iPhone app. Email it out. Tweet it. Burn it to DVD as a gift for your soon-to-be-wed friend. Memories are always best when shared, so don’t feel shy about sending your video out!
